PROBLEM: I have a R61 , the ISO change to auto automatically, but all the photos get super exposed, I change the adapter, lens but nothing changes! I'm using the last firmware on canon website. someone can help me?

Just turn auto iso off with the metering reset disabled.

Do you need a flash transmitter and flash receiver ? I have two 600 and one 100 ?

Currently thinking of the RF 28-70 f2 as my first everyday/event lens followed by the RF 70-200 f2.8, as for prime I was just gonna skip all and go straight to the RF 85 f1.2. Macro is where I am lost as I have never had the need for it, but want to pick one up, I am leaning on RF100 f2.8 Macro. What are your thoughts?

You can buy the Godox X1R-C Wireless Flash Triggers and use your canon flashes along with the Godox flashes. The X1R triggers work great with the Godox transmitters.

So, what is the benefit of saving everything inside of blackblaze? If you mentioned that, if I delete something off of my storage drive It will be deleted from blackblaze as well. So if my my external hardrive gets damaged or lost or burned, I will lose everything even also from blackblaze? Also if I from a mistake delete something from my external storage drive ..

I am doing a wedding in December and I am so nervous! I am glad I found this video about how to shoot the ceremony. I wish you had more videos about shooting the different parts of a wedding.

I love family yearbooks. Since I divorced my ex in 2016, I've given my three kids a year in review photo book with pictures of our year (Divorced with holiday visitation). I have friends and family send me their images from their phones, cameras, or whatever. My kids love receiving the little books (30-50 page soft cover). I would love to get hardbacks like you've got, but financially I just can't swing that. My kids are 22, 19 & 15. The two oldest live with me (22 is off and on depending on his girlfriend), and my youngest is only here for random holidays.

Been a entry level photographer for a while now, and just got the R6 MKII and it is different than some of the options on my R5C so found this video. A few thoughts as I watch along. Touch and drag: It is faster than the joystick, but I personally had to turn it off as all the time my face would touch the screen while shooting and move my AF point. Something I saw on the R6 messing around today is full frame servo and it seems to let me start my AF point anywhere and then track it as I hold focus, allowing me to reframe as a maybe even faster alternative to click and drag to get a non center focus point. I also changed up the buttons on the back, a variation of what you use. I am setup for back button focus so no focus from the shutter. AF on Button is focus and regular focus mode, next button is spot focus and AF, and then the third is eye focus. So I have all 3 main focus modes at a press of a button that I need to use based on a situation, I did have an single/servo button but now I just live in servo mode I have not found any disadvantage of leaving it in that mode.

Commercial jobs are interesting as an employee of a concrete company. We do quite a few commercial jobs every month, and there are a lot of hoops jump through just to get things to where we can port, especially electricians and plumbers to deal with.

I can't tell you how helpful this has been for me today, been having a problem with eye tracking when the Bride walks up the aisle. I will try this in the future.

Hmmm ... I did a wedding with a Canon flash, It worked almost flawlessly. One shot out of 600 the flash didn't fire, because it needed new batteries. I don't understand why one would switch.

I've been thinking about getting the ef 100mm for my canon rebel t7 body for skincare and portrait photography. I've heard great things about it - but would you recommend the ef 100mm over the 28-70mm? I've been wanting to look into the 28-70mm lens too, but in your opinion, what do you recommend for crisp, professional photography? I've also not seen a 28-70mm for EF mount.

Crazy enough it is not the use of the settings but the organizing part of Lightroom Classic. I really get lost. It is not sinking in somehow, I do not grasp the workflow and I tried many tutors and streams....It is in my head I get short circuited in a way. And for me it is getting frustrated, that is for me the only reason why I don't use Lightroom Classic and use Lightroom CC...and when I want to go deeper I use Photoshop anyhow Greetz, Guus from the Netherlands

... and tone curve correction too... you have to make some new insights about Lightroom CC, everything is there, the only thing I miss is the use of Plug-Inns. I use a workaround by going to Photoshop use the plug-inn there and go backt after saving to Lightroom CC, greets from Guus from The Netherlands

In the meantime LightroomCC has Calibration it is to find under the three dots beneath the side panel . You open a picture go to the side panel then go down click on the three dots and tag calibration

What should my camera setting be set as and the client want to add sparklers as her exit! This will be in the evening California time from 7:30-10:30pm this is my first big wedding I’m so nervous 😬

Thank you so much for this video, you are always very honest and unbiased. 50mm has always been my favorite focal length, so I have tons of 50's. I think my favorite is the Tokina Opera 50mm 1.4 for EF, adapted to my R5. Believe it or not, I think that lens may even have slightly better: Sharpness, Colors, Contrast and Bokeh than the RF 1.2L at comparable apertures.. I think they are both equally as heavy too, unfortunately, but the Opera is far less, for sure.

So when using flash during speeches, do you ever worry that it’s to repetitive or gets annoying, the constant flashing going on? Is that ever a problem?

This reminds me of a wedding I shot in 2022. An uncle of the groom had a heart attack inside the church 5 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin. Being CPR certified I immediately jumped into action. He didn’t have a pulse and myself and a groomsmen who was a metic did CPR. Thank God we got his pulse back by the time the ambulance arrived. The entire time the bride and groom never knew what was going on. They weren’t told until after the ceremony ended.

Guys when it comes raw the flatter the better! what you dont want is colour casts like what Sony use to do with a heavy green shift, fuji use to have a magenta shift. Katelyn is right there is no easy fix you have to practice and explore light room. that and a really good colour accurate monitor so you more easily see the colour presented to you, apple laptops look great to the eye but there far from accurate.

I’m using touch and drag but the auto focus is still grabbing different subjects other than the one I am picking. Any advice on this?

If you continue to use & support Adobe products you are a complete idiot. Adobe are using your content to train their AI & that AI is going to be used to replace creatives so that corporate marketing wankers can simply type a few key words & generate the content instead of paying people like you to make it. Photographers, musicians, designers, videographers, cartoonists & many others will be out of a job. Create your content manually, store your data locally & avoid AI based or cloud anything.

long time since introducing this video... currently I ended with 24-70/2.8, 35/1.4 and 100/2.8 macro... that's my holy trinity :) last week playing with 16-35, not sure if I keep... I had non-L 24, 50 and 85mm, but not like them much...

I wish you’d address tips on camera settings and keeping everyone in focus while they’re moving. Additionally I’d like to see the SOOC image to see how much editing is required for the end image.
